I still can’t see how anyone else’s marriage infringes on my own freedom. Also, why do we marry at all? It’s not to increase family wealth or social position anymore.

- To have a companion on the path of life
- To build a family
- To fulfill expected social obligations
- To share life’s mysteries with someone else
